( by the time the message came in, inara was far beyond exhausted from the day's activities. she had kicked off her shoes and left things scattered in her apartment, deciding she'd take care of it first thing in the morning. after getting a strange call from crane today, truthfully she was tired of socializing.
yet this text immediately filled her with new energy and a confident smile in her. she had done something good without the exchange of money for her services. she actually helped someone out and she felt proud. )
henry I appreciate you following up and letting me know you enjoyed yourself, this is exactly what you should be doing to cultivate and deepen your friendships but I have a question.
